Dancing Duck

A circus owner walked into a bar and saw a crowd gathered around a table. On the table was an upside-down pot with a duck dancing on top of it. He sees the potential of the act. He does some wheeling-dealing with the bar owner and finally gets the duck and pot for $10,000.Three days later the circus owner comes back into the bar, furious. "I put the pot down in front of a large audience, and put the duck on it. It just sat there and wouldn’t dance a single step.""So?" Asked the bar owner. "Did you remember to light the candle under the pot?"
